Alternatives For Girls invites you to our fifth annual golf outing — Fore the Future™ 5 — at the Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township on Friday, June 20 — the first day of summer!

Treat yourself to a great course with an awesome clubhouse, in the company of friends. Named the Best Public Course by Hour Detroit magazine, and voted Best Clubhouse by Crain’s Detroit Business, Cherry Creek is partnering with AFG to make this event exceptional.

Fore the Future™ 5 will give golfers a chance to enjoy a great event in a beautiful setting and an atmosphere of fun while they help support AFG programs. You’ll enjoy a well-organized event that starts on time; a chance to meet and greet AFG staffers and participants; 18 holes and cart; beverages on the course; lunch at the turn; and a brief but interesting awards banquet. The day also will feature special competitions and prizes (hole-in-one, longest drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin, etc.), and a Silent Auction.

Golfers are asked to contribute $180 per golfer. Proceeds will benefit the AFG Shelter, AFG Outreach and AFG Prevention programs, which help homeless and high-risk girls and young women.
